[MMDL] Last Minute WCO Updates

If you're coming to the Witch City Open this weekend, here's some important last minute info you should know about:

Official Event Schedule - Some have been confused by an outdated event schedule. Please see the attached flyer for the most up to date and accurate day and time for all events.  Friday night kicks the weekend off with Mixed Doubles at 7:00pm and a Blind Draw at 9:30pm.  Please note registration closes promptly and strictly 30 minutes prior to start time for all events to help ensure on-time performance.

501 Singles Format Update - The following format changes were announced this past August:  Men's 501 Singles will be best of three; quarterfinals will be best of 5; semifinals will be best of 7; and finals will be best of 9.  Women's 501 Singles will be best of three; semifinals will be best of 5; and finals will be best of 7.

Advance Registration - At the onsite registration desk, we will be accepting pre-registration for any and all events.  You can sign up for the entire weekend at once if you wish, but please do not no-show an event you are registered in to prevent unwanted BYEs.

NO ATM - Make sure you have ample cash as we just learned there will be no ATM machine on the premises, although there is a bank not too far away. Bring enough cash for all events if you wish to take advantage of advance registration.

Live Results - Keep checking our website, Facebook and Twitter (@MMDL_Darts) pages all weekend for live results for all events as long as our wifi holds up.  Our twitter hashtag for this event is #WitchCityOpen.

Sportsmanship and Player Conduct - Handshakes and mutual respect between competitors is expected and appreciated. Please volunteer to chalk when you are not playing.

Please travel safe -- we're excited to host what we hope will be a memorable and wicked good tournament for all!
