This is just a friendly reminder that the first captain's meetings for the Fall 2009 season will take place next week (see full schedule below). Now is the time to collect all your players' information and make sure you have secured your team sponsor check for $150 to turn in with your roster. All details about entering a team for the fall season can be found on the league website: CLICK HERE.
Make sure your roster is filled out legibly and completely and that you have your sponsor check in hand for the first meeting -- illegible and/or incomplete rosters will not be accepted by the Area Directors and teams without checks will be assessed a $25 late check fee. Handing in a properly filled out roster is now more important for the league's new online stat system.
Please be on time for captain's meetings to receive many important announcements about changes to the league. This is different from past seasons, you will not be simply dropping off rosters and checks. NS and SS Captains also must attend or send a proxy to participate in Area Director elections.
MMDL ELECTIONS
MMDL elections will take place this summer for NS and SS Area Directors, President, Secretary and Marketing and Communications Director. For more information on MMDL elections, visit the league website or CLICK HERE
MMDL RULES CHANGES
As previously announced, the MMDL Rules Committee proposed several changes to the MMDL ruleset which were approved by the Board of Directors on July 20, 2009. Attached is a spreadsheet document that outlines the specific rules that were affected. SUPER A DIVISION
This season MMDL will be bringing Super A back into the league structure featuring an updated match format. We want to make sure that interested teams fully understand the new structure and format - if you are interested in putting in a Super A team or have any questions, contact: Adam Sherlock, MMDL Commisioner: adams@mmdl.org.
