Attached please find the Week 9 standings for the Spring 2009 season.
 
What should we do with Super A?
The league is considering several proposals to return the Super A division into the league structure.  We realize that this has many implications regarding competitiveness, scheduling and divisional alignment that affects many teams and players. If you have an interest in determining the outcome of this issue, you are strongly encouraged to have your voice be heard and participate in the discussions, beginning with participating in the following poll on the MMDL forums, located here:  http://www.minutemandartleague.freeforums.org/who-wants-super-a-t349.html
 
PREVIEW: New MMDL Stats Website
We invite you to take an early peek at a new website that the league is developing to modernize administration of players, stats and standings.  You may register an account there and begin poking around, but please be aware this is still in the early "beta" stages of development, so you may encounter incomplete or inaccurate information (particularly roster and player information).  Over the months between now and the fall season, we will be outlining the various changes that this system will require all of us to embrace, so it is essential that league members (especially captains) pay attention and remain informed during this time of transition.

Women's competition added!  There will be 2 levels of play added to the Area Qualifiers.
Purple - Women Only ( C and Below) 1PM All venues
Pink - Women Only (A and B players) 3PM all venues
$50 added by the MMDL plus all money collected for both levels. $10 entry fee

The MMDL Board of Directors express our condolences to the family and friends of Henry LaSreniere, an MMDL player from The Sharks in Central E2 Division, who passed away from cancer last week.  Rest in peace, Henry.

Good luck to all MMDL players participating at this weekend's White Mountain Shoot Out in NH.  For those staying local this weekend, please consider attending this Saturday's Fundraiser LOD for the family of MMDL Member Marty Griffin who recently passed away.  See the tourney calendar below for details
