Congratulations to MMDL player, Bette Cunningham, for winning the national ADO competition this past weekend in Texas for the right to represent the ADO, MMDL and the USA at the Winmau World Masters tournament in England this coming fall!
Bette will be joined by fellow MMDL veterans Tom Sawyer and Tom Curtin whose participation at last year's World Masters was deferred to this year. Bette plays for the Mad Dogs team out of Madigan's Again in Worcester and Tom and Tom play for Suicide 9 out of The Barn in Amesbury.
Tom Sawyer is currently ranked by the ADO as the #1 Men's player in the USA. Tom Curtin is ranked #12 and Bette Cunningham is ranked #14 among the Ladies. The MMDL currently leads all leagues in the country in ADO points earned.
The MMDL has always been and continues to be a major player on the national and international darts scene and our region has produced some of the greatest Americans to ever play the game (even some guys not named "Tom"). For more information on the MMDL's ADO programs and activities - click here.
