[MMDL] Submitting match reports via email

MMDL is looking for team captains who wish to volunteer for a new pilot program to evaluate the feasibility of submitting scanned copies of weekly match reports via email.  This program is being looked at to increase the speed and reliability of reporting match scores.

 

To qualify for this program, you must be able to meet the following requirements:

 

  • You must have an email address which you use and check on a regular basis.
  • Ability to scan or otherwise convert hard copy match reports into a .pdf document that can be printed and read by the league statistician.  You must check the legibility of your scanned documents before transmitting and they must be similar in quality to the hard copy.
  • Write "Scanned" at the top of your hard copy of the match report before scanning.
  • Write the Area and Division names in the subject line of the email.
  • Match reports must be sent via email no later than 11:59pm on the Wednesday following your match. If you fail to submit your match report via email by the deadline, you will be subject to penalty point deduction for late match report.
  • You will NOT need to mail in the white copy of your match report.
  • At the end of this season you will be asked to provide an evaluation of this process and a decision will be made on whether to continue and/or expand this service in future seasons.
