Dear MMDL Member:

 

Please see below for an important announcement regarding changes to the event start times for the remaining MMDL Singles Qualifier tournaments.

 

But first....CONGRATULATIONS to the following Men and Women qualifiers from this past Saturday's event at the Beverly Elks.  Each player listed below has qualified for the finals tournament to be held on June 13th, location still tbd.

START TIME CHANGES

Based on last Saturday's event, MMDL has decided to further space out the men's event start times for the remaining qualifiers as follows:

 

Purple and Pink:  NO CHANGES, start times remain 1pm and 3pm respectively

Bronze event (D and Below): Start time remains 12noon

Silver event (B and C): Start time changed to 2:30pm

Gold event (A): Start time changed to 5:00pm

 

Please help spread the word about these changes to your fellow shooters.  An updated event flyer is attached or can be downloaded from here.

 

We hope to see you this Sunday, May 3rd at the Framingham Eagles!  Don't forget, there is an all you can eat buffet from 10am-2pm.

[MMDL] Week 12 Standings & Summer League Options

Attached please find the standings for Week 12 of the Spring 2009 season.

 

ATTN CAPTAINS: As we approach season's end, it is ESSENTIAL for match reports to be mailed on time as this affects playoff matchups.  The playoff schedules will be distributed shortly.  Please remember to mail your reports immediately following your match or by the next morning at the latest.

NEW MMDL ADO PROGRAM - FREE FOR ALL MALE AND FEMALE PLAYERS

The MMDL BoD has approved a new program of qualifying events to increase
participation in the national ADO program. The first free qualifier will be
held with winners given a registration spot ($110 value) at the upcoming
"ADO Masters" 501 competition on February 28.  There will be a minimum of 2
(1 man and 1 woman) and a potential for 6 players to be awarded entry.

Date and Time:  February 21, 2009; Doors open at 12:30pm, start time: 1:00pm

MMDL 501 Singles Championship

Test your skills against the rest of the league!  We are pleased to announce a new Singles Championship program for MMDL players.  This season's competition will feature some important adjustments from last year's program:

• Championships will be contained within a single season instead of spread throughout the year.  Spring season's format will be 501 and the Fall season format will be Cricket.
• This Spring there will be 4 qualifers, one in each area (see schedule below), with winners gaining entry into the Championship Finals.  Players can play in any or all area qualifiers until they have qualified for the Finals.
• Player levels are being returned to 3 sections, Gold (A Division), Silver (B and C Divisions) and Bronze (D and Below Divisions).  Lower division players may choose to play in upper level sections if they wish.
