[MMDL] **IT just got real....the MMDL Playoffs are almost here!

North / South / Central / Boston
Who will drink their opponents tears out of the Golden Cup?

It's time for beatdowns, comebacks and upsets...the MMDL Playoffs!

Good luck to all teams in their quest for the prestigious State Championship of the World's Largest Steel Tip League!  Time to make your push to the end, finish strong and start preparing for the postseason challenge!

Please download your area playoff schedule and read the important reminders below. Most importantly, please check with your home sponsor about parties or events that may conflict with playoff matches, particularly any Thursdays that you are scheduled to play so that you can make alternative arrangements. Proactive communication goes a long way, a quick phone call can prevent a lot of headaches.



* PLAYOFF SCHEDULES * - Click below to download your area's playoff schedule.  Please note that schedules are subject to change and are updated frequently during the post season.  Always check the date code printed on the schedule to ensure you have the most recent version.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR PLAYOFF TEAMS:

  1. PLAYOFF ELIGIBILITY: Please remember that all players must have played in a minimum of 3 regular season matches in order to qualify for the playoffs.  Players who have been deemed ineligible by the league will have their names appear in italics on the MMDL Stats Website.  If you have any questions about this policy, please contact your Area Director or the League Commissioner.

  2. Please remember to remind your sponsor about the possibility for Thursday night playoff matches and check their schedule for conflicts with parties or other events. If your sponsor hosts multiple teams, please check for conflicts to avoid overcrowding.

  3. Winning captains - DON'T FORGET - report playoff match results immediately following your win, call or email your area director as instructed on the playoff schedule sheet.

  4. Driving Directions to Opponent's Sponsor are available from the MMDL Stats Website. Note: May not contain every sponsor, if you don't find yours, try mapquest.com or Google Maps.

  5. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS regarding the playoffs, please contact your Area Director.  ADs are extremely busy during the playoffs and have many other captains to consider, so please be patient and make sure you have all of your information and questions at hand when contacting them. AD contact info is listed on your area playoff schedule or click here.

  6. Playoff Results will be reported after each round is completed on the MMDL website - the downloadable schedule will be updated with advancing teams.  Make sure you check the schedule date code to ensure you have the most up to date version.

  7. TIP: For a match report, since these are not mailed into the league, you may use an extra blank regular season match report (separate the three carbons so you have three copies to use), or just a blank piece of paper.  To download a blank match report that you can print out, click here.

[MMDL] Honoring the Legends of the Game


Phil Jackson and John Bullock started playing darts in the Minute Man Dart League from its inception in 1974 and played continuously for 80 seasons of league darts.  In addition to being among the very best players of their generation, each have made numerous contributions to the league throughout their careers as ambassadors of the sport and helped lay the foundation that made the MMDL the world-renowned and respected organization that it is today. We salute these legends of the game without whom the league would never have been the same.

The Minute Man Dart League wants to extend our thanks and gratitude to these outstanding individuals for their loyalty, commitment and service, and hereby dedicate the Spring 2015 season and its championship playoffs in their honor.

About Phil Jackson

Phil was a founding member of the Ballantine Ale League which became the Minute Man Dart League in 1974.  His career accomplishments include:

  • Inducted in the National Darts Hall of Fame - Class of 2015 (nominated by Chris Jensen)
  • Inaugural league MVP
  • Threw a perfect 301 in the first season of league play
  • First ever champion of the league's singles tournament
  • One of a few players to play in a trans-continental match against an England national team facilitated via telephone.
  • Multiple Super A Championships
  • Multiple tournament titles from across the country
  • One of the greatest players to ever play in the MMDL!

About John Bullock

John was a founding member of the Minute Man Dart League and was part of the pioneering team that oversaw MMDL's rise as the world's largest league during the golden era of North American darts. His voice behind the microphone was a staple on the local tournament scene for many years.

[MMDL] Week 10 Standings & Summer League Info

We're in the home stretch before the "second season" begins...time to jockey into position, clinch your playoff spot or make your move up the ladder!


MMDL Matches are now featured on DartConnect's DCTV Service - Watch LIVE Match Scoreboards on your Phone!  On league night, go to tv.dartconnect.com and see a list of matches that are available to watch. When matches are completed, you'll see a link to the DC Match Recap loaded with the match statistics.  Check it out on Tuesday nights!

Results for Week 10 of the Spring 2015 season are available on the MMDL Statistics Website.  Follow the link below to review the scores and notables for your area.

Summer League Info - 2015

MMDL does not run a summer season for darts, but there are some options for players that want to continue competing between the Spring and Fall seasons.  See below for information we have on available summer leagues for MMDL players.

A new summer league is forming with many new updates.  All playing venues will be in Marlborough and there will be a player fee of $100/person. To sign up -- contact Paola Crowell by email at vikingsmom2000@yahoo.com or by phone at 774-285-2441 or in person any Sunday night at the Westender's luck of the draw. Number of players is limited.  Download the league flyer for additional details.

Spring 2015 Dart World ALL STAR Drawings

Every 2 weeks of the regular season we will hold a drawing of all A-E Division players who scored notables in any category during those weeks to win a $50 gift certificate to spend at the DartWorld.com online store! For Super A Division players, we will draw a winner from those who scored notables in the first half of the season and the second half to win a $50 gift certificate! Check our website, social  media and weekly emails for winner announcements.

TARGET OUT FOR WEEK 11: "116"

Each week we will publish an RR "Target Out." The first person at your match who hits the out that week will be entered into an end of season drawing for prizes including expenses paid trips to tournaments and RR products. See the space at the bottom of your match report to write in any target out entries.
