PLEASE BE AWARE of the new rules governing regular season ties that determine final division placement and playoff bracket seeding. The new tie breaking format is as follows:
1. Adjusted win/loss record within division; 1pt/win, .5pt/tie
2. Win & Lose record against each other (total points)
3. Add the points of the games won only
4. Playoff

Rosters need to be submitted at the turn of the year. Check our website for the captain's meeting schedule. Looking for new pub? Check the info posted in our forums (click here), specifically, the Landing Pub in Braintree is looking for new teams, here's a message from the manager:
"We are looking for 2 teams to shoot out of The Landing Pub in Braintree/Weymouth Landing. We've had several teams play out of here for years. Looking to continue that run. New boards for home games and electronic scoreboard. Fees are paid for and we supply Pizzas for every home game for both teams. Contact Bob Sarras @ 781-848-2430 or 617 823 3535"
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Due to Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve both falling on a Tuesday, some divisions will have some playoff rounds held on consecutive Thursday evenings. See your playoff schedule for details. Remember to check in advance with your sponsor to avoid conflicts with holiday parties or other events - bring this up with them at your next match there.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR PLAYOFF TEAMS:

PLAYOFF ELIGIBILITY: Please remember that all players must have played in a minimum of 3 regular season matches in order to qualify for the playoffs. Players who have been deemed ineligible by the league will have their names appear in italics on the MMDL Stats Website. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact your Area Director or the League Commissioner.

Please remember to remind your sponsor about the possibility for Thursday night playoff matches and check their schedule for conflicts with parties, karaoke, trivia night or other events.

Winning captains - DON'T FORGET - report playoff match results immediately following your win, call or email your area director as instructed on the playoff schedule sheet.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS regarding the playoffs, please contact your Area Director. ADs are extremely busy during the playoffs and have many other captains to consider, so please be patient and make sure you have all of your information and questions at hand when contacting them. Playoff Results will be reported after each round is completed on the MMDL website - the downloadable schedule will be updated with advancing teams. Make sure you check the schedule date code to ensure you have the most up to date version.
- TIP: For a match report, since these are not mailed into the league, you may use an extra blank regular season match report (separate the three carbons so you have three copies to use), or just a blank piece of paper. To download a blank match report, click here.
DART WORLD'S PIRANHA HIGH OUT WINNERS
Every week of the regular season, Dart World will be awarding a FREE set of their best selling Piranha Darts to the player in A&B divisions and the player in C-E divisions that earn the top high-out all star achievement. Winners should claim their prize by sending an email with their choice of Piranha Darts and a valid US shipping address to mmdl.bod@gmail.com. Once you receive your darts, please also send us a picture of yourself with them.
